| Trail Description: |
Challenging due to multiple short but steep hills and occasional muddy conditions is low lying areas.Mostly single path trail through hardwood forest. Several scenic overlooks of Alum Creek resevoir. Particularly scenic in late April and early May when wild flowers are in bloom (and it's not too wet) and mid to late October when leaves are in full turn. |

Winter, spring, and early summer if there has been rain. The soil is mostly clay, which leads to slippery trail conditions when they are wet.

Primary trailhead is at the Howard road horseman's campsite. Take the route 36/37 exit off Interstate 71 about 12 miles north of I270 north of Columbus Ohio. Go one half mile east to county road 35 (known locally as 3Bs&K road). Go two miles north to Howard road. Go west on Howard about one mile. The camp site is on the right just after you cross Alum Creek Resevior.

More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes)
